    Mizoram MLA ZR Thiamsanga conferred the ‘Best Citizens of India’ award 2021 for social needs

    Aizawl: Dr. ZR Thiamsanga, MLA from Mizoram has been conferred with the ‘Best Citizens of India’ award by the International Publishing House for his immense contribution for his service to the society.





    A part of the certificate given to ZR Thiamsanga by The International Publishing House read, “He has successfully operated more than 3,000 major operations not only his Specialization Obs&Gynea cases but also like perforation of the stomach, acute appendicitis, amputation of legs and Arms due to trauma, even splenic rapture under open ether. He has extensively travelled and conducts free clinic and health Awareness Campaign for the needy people and those people who could not enjoy better medical facilities in so many remote areas of Mizoram.”





    Doctor turned politician ZR Thiamsanga, is a legislator from the Champhai North Constituency of Mizoram, who came into the limelight after he saved the lives of a pregnant woman and her baby by performing an emergency caesarean. He was then felicitated for his commendable job by the Governor of Mizoram S Sreedharan Pillai last year.





    ZR Thiamsanga holds the portfolio of Vice-Chairman, Health and Family Welfare Board, Mizoram and he is also Co-Chairman, Mizoram Health Care Scoeity. Apart from this, he also holds the post of Vice-Chairman, Mizoram Cooperative Development Council.
