Momentum North East 2023 begins today at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Guwahati

Digital Desk: Momentum North East 2023, hosted by the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, NER Chapter, begins today at Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra in Panjabari, Guwahati. In this event, the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Guwahati, will display the subject 8 years of Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan, and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav through a photo exhibition. 

The CBC display will feature several photo panels on development projects, initiatives, and successes throughout the last eight years of government. Aside from that, some photo panels depicting Assam's liberation heroes will be on show at the exhibition.

Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, Governor of Assam and Nagaland, will officiate at the occasion. Col. Saurabh Sanyal, CEO & Secretary General PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Shri Oinam Sarankumar Singh, IAS, Commissioner, Industries and Commerce Department, and Manavendra Pratap Singh, IAS, Managing Director, Assam Industrial Development Corporation Ltd will attend the inaugural celebration.

The event's objective is to collaborate on interventions to create a partnership and networking platform for many stakeholders, as well as to harness the region's potential, business prospects, and potential for investment and growth. Momentum North East 2022 aspires to connect local youth, women, NGOs, and development organisations with national-level institutions, industries, professionals, and officials. 

The three-day event at the CBC stand will feature a variety of performances including dance, drama, quizzes, and extempore speeches. All three days will feature cultural programmes - folk songs and folk dances reflecting Assamese culture and heritage. CBC Cultural artists will also perform a variety of dance styles and musical programmes at the occasion.

The event's initial session will take place on January 20th, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Sri Madhabdev International Auditorium in Kalakshetra, and the exhibition stalls will be open to visitors from January 20th to 22nd, 2023.
