On August 27, a criminal case was filed in Assam's Nazira against the female police officer who was suspected of torturing her house help.
Digital Desk: Subhalakshmi Dutta, the suspended additional superintendent of police (border), was taken into custody by the court on Tuesday due to her suspected involvement in an assault case in the Charaideo district of Assam.
Dutta was placed in three-day police custody on September 9. She was then shown in court today.
Sources claim that Dutta was placed in judicial prison after the judge denied her bail request.
She was then moved to Sivasagar jail as a result of the court's ruling, where she will stay detained.
