Additionally, Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone for several road upgradation projects, totaling over Rs 3400 crore, as part of the South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) Corridor Connectivity. These initiatives will not only improve the region's infrastructure but also facilitate smoother transportation and bolster economic growth.
In a bid to enhance connectivity and spur economic development, the Prime Minister inaugurated two vital 4-laning projects—Dolabari to Jamuguri and Biswanath Chariali to Gohpur, which are poised to uplift connectivity to Itanagar and its surroundings.
Furthermore, acknowledging the significance of sports infrastructure, Prime Minister Modi initiated projects aimed at elevating the state's sporting facilities.
