Digital Desk: The Assamese film 'Raghav' became the centre of a heated dispute prior to its release. Fans swiftly expressed their opinions on social media after the movie's premiere, sparking a flurry of discussions. The actor, Jatin Bora, is preparing ready to call the police. Those who troll 'Raghav' may face legal consequences as the actor Bora has lodged a complaint against all the trolls.
Nilotpal Bora, an Assamese singer and composer, harshly criticized the makers of "Raghav" on Facebook earlier on August 2 for portraying Maharashtrian instrument as a part of Assamese culture.
"Two days ago, I watched the trailer for Jatin Bora's upcoming film, "Raghav." Over the past two days, I've witnessed a lot of individuals giving praise and giving criticism. I wish to shed light on an alternative viewpoint. The folk instrument from Maharashtra known as the "Puneri Dhol" is the one seen in the teaser. Hundreds of drums celebrated by dancing together like this is their culture during festivals like Dahi Handi and Ganesh Chaturthi," nationally acclaimed singer Nilotpal Bora wrote in a Facebook post on August 3.
"Raghav" got involved in the "waistline" controversy as well. Actor-turned-director Jatin Bora dispelled all rumors and revealed how this movie is fuelled by his year-long savings without a producer.
