    Locals have paid tribute to the deceased elephant's memory by offering flowers and "gamusa" as a sign of their sorrow.


    Digital Desk: An elephant in the Kaziranga National Park in Assam that was used for tourist safaris is said to have died under mysterious circumstances.

    The magnificent animal known as "Lakhimala" was a main attraction for those enjoying safari at the park's Bagori range.

    Mahaut stated that the tusker had been unwell for a long period of time, experiencing difficulties with eating and drinking.

    Concurrently, there have been claims indicating that the park authorities and the owner of the elephant attempted to hide the reasons behind its demise. Additionally, it is said that they attempted to covertly remove the body from the park overnight using a vehicle.
