    Digital desk: 24 national tribal party organizations convened in Shivasagar, led by Gaurav Gogoi, the candidate endorsed by the Opposition Oikya Manch, and Akhil Gogoi, MLA from the Shivasagar constituency. 

    The gathering took place at the Padma Banquet Hall in Shivasagar, drawing representatives from a diverse array of groups including the Assamese Yuva Manch, Assam Chhatra Yuva Sanmilan, and Jatiya Sangrami Sena, among others. Notably, senior citizens from various spheres of Assam society also graced the meeting, demonstrating widespread support.

    Key attendees such as the CPI and Assam Jatiya Parishad were present. The Ahom tribal organization is poised to hold separate discussions with Gaurav Gogoi, emphasizing the strategic importance of alliances in the region.

    After the deliberations, the collective decision of the 24 national and tribal organizations was to throw their weight behind Gaurav Gogoi in the upcoming elections. They pledged full support, affirming their commitment to actively participate in the campaign as needed. 

    Additionally, Tapan Gogoi, a prominent figure within the assembly, is set to receive a heartfelt farewell from the 24-party coalition, underscoring the cohesion and solidarity within the opposition movement.

    This alliance not only signifies a unified front but also reflects the resonance of Gaurav Gogoi's candidacy among diverse segments of the populace. As the electoral landscape continues to evolve, the backing of these influential organizations could prove pivotal in shaping the outcome of the elections in the Sivasagar constituency.
