    A few friends of the truck owners made every effort to locate the missing vehicle by gathering CCTV footage at the Ri Bhoi Toll Plaza, where it was observed that the truck had passed through the toll plaza on June 16, 2022, at around 4 in the morning.

    Desk: At one petrol station in Beharbari, Guwahati, a Dumper truck was stolen.
    On June 17, 2022, in the Nongpoh areas of the Ri Bhoi District, the stolen
    truck was found.

    dumper truck with the registration number AS 01 EC 3181, which belonged to one
    Dip Sharma of Lokhra in Guwahati, was allegedly taken by unidentified
    individuals from the gas station at Biharbari where the truck was parked on the
    early morning of June 15, 2022.

    after learning of the theft, the owner reported the incident to the police at
    the Basistha station, and a trace of the truck was conducted. A few friends of
    the truck owners made every effort to locate the missing vehicle by gathering CCTV
    footage at the Ri Bhoi Toll Plaza, where it was observed that the truck had
    passed through the toll plaza on June 16, 2022, at around 4 in the morning.

    it has been claimed that the truck owner's friends, working with the Ri Bhoi
    District Police, located the missing truck when passing the Nongpoh district. They
    subsequently pursued the truck and detained it at a gas station after crossing
    Nongpoh.

    truck was impounded, it was discovered that the unidentified miscreants had
    modified the truck's registration number by adding a duplicate Meghalaya number
    - ML 12 1242 and had even changed the owner's name on the dumper truck in an
    effort to deceive the public.

    guy was detained, and the matter was passed to Assam Police for further
    investigation. It was initially reported to Basistha Police Station in Assam.
