Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the Lachit Borphukan app and platform on Wednesday to commemorate the 400th birth anniversary of the great warrior of the Ahom Dynasty who conquered the Mughal Empire.
During a press conference at Janata Bhawan, CM Sarma unveiled the app and portal.
People may use the app to share their ideas about the warrior by writing them on a piece of paper and uploading them to the app.
The state government will offer certificates of recognition to anyone who posts their writings to the web and app.
People from all over the world can contribute their ideas on Lachit Borphukan, according to CM Sarma.
Furthermore, CM Sarma declared that on November 18, an essay-writing competition on Lachit Borphukan will be held in all Assam educational institutions.
He has directed that the essays be submitted by all educational institutions.
He also stated that the tournament will be held at the district and state levels in the future.
