    Digital Desk: The flood situation in Assam continues to worsen, and amid this, four more deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours. With this, the death toll has reached 121 in the state.

    Out of the four deaths, one each was reported from Barpeta, Cachar, Darrang, and Golaghat districts. There were two children among the deceased.

    In Assam, more than 25.10 lakh residents are still stranded in floodwaters in 2,894 villages spread over 27 districts and 79 revenue circles.

    The following districts are among those impacted by flooding: Bajali, Baksa, Barpeta, Biswanath, Cachar, Chirang, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Dima Hasao, Goalpara, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Hojai, Kamrup, Kamrup Metropolitan, Karbi Anglong West, Karimganj, Lakhimpur, Morigaon, Nagaon, Nalbari,

    Notably, over 2.33 lakh people are still staying in 637 relief camps spread out throughout the flood-affected districts, a report from the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) reported.
