Digital Desk:The Assam High Madrassa result has
been announced today and a total of 54.73 percent of students cleared the exams
this year.
Moreover, Mufasir Al Hussain secured
the top spot in the High Madrassa examination, scoring a total of 556 marks and
he is a student of Al Kouser Model Academy in Sonitpur.
Notably, Sadika Ahmed from Dhakua High
Madrassa of Barpeta district and Mustak Ahmed from Piradhara High Madrassa in
Bongaigaon booked the second position. Both the students scored 550 marks.
Moreover, the third position has been grabbed
by two students namely Sahanaz Parvin from Daulatpur Madrassa, Lakhimpur and
Irsad Ullah from Barghuli Madrassa by scoring a total of 549 marks.
It may be mentioned that a total of
10454 candidates had appeared for the examination this year, of which, 3870
happen to be male while 6584 are female.
As many as 872 candidates achieved 1st
division following 2909 students securing second division and 1940 candidates
got third division.
It should be noted that similar to the Assam
HSLC Exam, boys surpassed girls in this year's High Madrassa exam. The pass
rate for boys stood at 57.67 percent, while 52.99 percent of girls who took the
exam passed.
