Former Pan Bazar Police Oc Bhargav Borbora Continues To Find Himself In Increasing Legal Woes And Criticism Over Multiple Alleged Assaults.

Manjit Terang, the officer-in-charge of Khetri Police Station, has been appointed as the new OC of Pan Bazar Police Station…

Digital Desk: The  troubles of arrested former Pan Bazar Police Station Officer in Charge Bhargav Borbora do not seem to be getting any better as a delivery boy, Gyandeep Hazarika, lodged an FIR against him for physical assault in Guwahati on Nov 15.

The second abuse case against Borbora was a major controversy on Saturday itself. The Anusuchit Jati Sangrami Yuba Parishad, Asom, has also written to President Droupadi Murmu and the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) due to increasing violence by Assamese against SC in Assam. The public outrage over the incident of assault on the delivery boy in Guwahati continues to grow.

The allegations include a separate assault case of a 70-year-old SC woman in Nagaon. As is often the case, the general public demanded justice for Hazarika, who later shared a video of the incident that brought Borbora under suspension and a departmental way, and Manjit Terang, the officer-in-charge of Khetri Police Station, has been appointed as the new OC of Pan Bazar Police Station.

Demands for his dismissal and more severe actions against him are received louder and more impactful.
