    BJP Gears Up in Assam, Targets 50,000 Advocates for Membership

    The Advocates' Association meeting, held on Monday in Barpeta, saw the active participation of around 200 advocates who officially joined the BJP.


    Digital Desk: In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in Assam, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has set an ambitious goal of recruiting 50,000 advocates in the region. This announcement came during the BJP's Advocates' Association meeting held in Barpeta, where Jayanta Kumar Goswami, the BJP’s law cell head, revealed the party's plan.


    Already making significant strides, the BJP has successfully welcomed 10,000 advocates into its fold. The drive to integrate legal professionals is part of a broader initiative to strengthen the party's influence in the state. Plans include an extensive promotional campaign in Assam, where 10,000 advocates are expected to play a pivotal role in endorsing Modi's leadership during the upcoming elections.

    As the BJP intensifies its efforts in Barpeta, the law cell head also informed the party’s efforts in every district of Assam to gain support from the law professionals of the state.
