honour freedom heroes and mark the nation's 75th anniversary of independence.
As a result, they decided to organize a number of events, and the government
gave the celebration the name "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav." Amrit
Mahotsav, which means "Nectar of Grand Celebration," commemorates 75
years since India gained independence from the British Raj. The general
ceremonies started on March 12, 2022, and will last until August 15, 2023.
