IMD has issued a yellow alert on April 10 in Kokrajhar, Chirang, Bongaigaon, Goalpara, Barpeta, Nalbari, Kamrup (Rural), Kamrup (Metro), Morigaon, Nagaon, Karbi Anglong, Golaghat, Hojai, West Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao, Cachar, and Hailakandi.
Digital Desk: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Guwahati has predicted heavy rainfall with hailstorms in the Northeast including Assam in the days ahead of Rongali Bihu.
IMD has issued a yellow alert on April 10 in Kokrajhar, Chirang, Bongaigaon, Goalpara, Barpeta, Nalbari, Kamrup (Rural), Kamrup (Metro), Morigaon, Nagaon, Karbi Anglong, Golaghat, Hojai, West Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao, Cachar, and Hailakandi.
However, a yellow alert has been issued for April 10 in Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa, Bongaigaon, Goalpara, Barpeta, Nalbari, Kamrup (R), Kamrup (M), Karbi Anglong, Golaghat, Hojai, West Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao, and Cachar.
The districts in which the IMD has issued a yellow alert for April 11 are Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Bongaigaon, Goalpara, and Barpeta, while the same alert has been issued for April 12 in Kokrajhar, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Baksa, West Karbi Anglong, Hojai, and Dima Hasao.
The districts in which the IMD has issued a yellow alert for April 13 are Dhubri, Kokrajhar, Bongaigaon, Barpeta, West Karbi Anglong, Hojai, Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao, Cachar, and Hailakandi.
The department has also forecast heavy storms with rainfall in the above-mentioned districts.
