Minister-Level Talks from Nov 2-5 regarding Assam-Mizoram Border Dispute
State home secretary H Lalengmawia informed the Assam government, which was tasked with resuming talks, that the scheduled time for talks had been pushed back from the end of October to early November.

Digital Desk: Ministerial-level talks between Mizoram and neighbouring Assam to find an amicable and long-term solution to the vexing 50-year interstate boundary dispute are set to take place in Guwahati from November 2 to 5, according to a senior Mizoram home department official, as per Times of India.

State home secretary H Lalengmawia informed the Assam government, which was tasked with resuming talks, that the scheduled time for talks had been pushed back from the end of October to early November.

The state delegation, according to Lalengmawia, will most likely be led by home minister Lalchamliana, who will be accompanied by land revenue and settlement minister Lalruatkima and senior home department officials, including himself.

The Assam delegation was led by border protection and development minister Atul Bora, urban and housing affairs minister Ashok Singhal, and senior officials in two rounds of talks in Aizawl.

Both states held ministerial-level talks in Aizawl in August 2021 and again on August 9 this year.
