    Along with Gandhi's visit, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh is set to touch down in Assam tomorrow, embarking on a two-day visit to fortify the party's presence


    Digital Desk: As the Lok Sabha elections 2024 draw near, Congress star campaigner Rahul Gandhi is set to intensify campaigning efforts in Assam. Scheduled for April 17, Gandhi's visit aims to support the electoral prospects of key candidates in the region.


    Rahul Gandhi in Assam: Gandhi's visit includes two pivotal rallies, planned in Jorhat and Dibrugarh. The first leg of his campaign will commence at 11 am in Jorhat, rallying behind Congress candidate Gaurav Gogoi. Subsequently, at 1 pm, he will lend his voice to the campaign of Lurinjyoti Gogoi, representing the Opposition Oikya Manch, in Dibrugarh.


    Coupled with Gandhi's visit, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh is set to touch down in Assam tomorrow, embarking on a two-day visit to fortify the party's presence. Ramesh's schedule includes a press conference scheduled for April 10 at 4:30 pm in Jorhat, followed by another press interaction at the Guwahati Press Club on April 11 at 3:30 pm.


    Ahead of Rahul's visit, the Union Home Minister attacked the Congress party in Lakhimpur, claiming that the Congress had sinned by abandoning Assam and its people during times of crisis.
