Digital Desk: Based on the most recent recent sources, the Ganga Vilas Cruise, the world's longest river cruise, is expected to begin its 50-day journey from Varanasi to Dibrugarh in January. The Union Ministry of Ports and Waterways confirmed the news. The voyage will go 4000 kilometres through Kolkata and Bangladesh.
The cruise's goal is to promote tourism and promote positive relationships between guests from both countries. According to sources, the trip would visit national parks, wildlife refuges, and the Sunderbans Delta.
Cabinet Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal tweeted announcing "The world's longest river cruise will commence its journey in Jan next year. Ganga Vilas, will set sail from sacred Varanasi to Dibrugarh via Bangladesh covering 4,000 km on the two greatest rivers of India, Ganga & Brahmaputra. Watch."
Passengers on cruises can experience the beautiful Ganga Aarti at one of the Ganga's Assi Ghats in Varanasi, as well as the natural wonders of the world's largest mangrove forest in Sunderbans and the dark magic of Mayong. The ship will have 18 deluxe suites as well as other lavish amenities.

Before returning to India, it would travel a 1100 km river journey through Bangladesh.
