With this victory, India's medal tally has clinched, setting a new epoch in the country's sporting achievements.

The exhilarating moment was further heightened when the Indian men's hockey team clinched the gold medal by overpowering Japan with a resounding 5-1 victory in the final match. This triumph not only added to India's medal count but also secured their spot in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

As of now, India's current medal tally stands at an impressive 92 medals. However, the nation's athletes from various disciplines, including archery and kabaddi, are expected to contribute further to achieve the coveted century mark in the coming days.

In the realm of archery, the nation has high hopes as Abhishek Verma and Ojas Deotale are set to face off in the compound event individual final, ensuring that India secures both a gold and a silver medal.
