IND vs AUS: Virat Kohli's reaction in dressing room after getting out goes viral
Kohli just couldn't get his pads out of the way of the ball as it was the third delivery of the Indian innings' 45th over.

Digital Desk: On Day 2 of the second test in Delhi against the Australian spinners, Virat Kohli seemed to have total control. He moved forward to stifle Todd Murphy and Nathan Lyon's spin, using his excellent wrists to move them to the side. He was skilled when the bounce stayed low while he was focused on the ball. He was also quick to get back on his back foot. Overall, he gave off the impression of being in a position for a big total, and India was in desperate need of one of his signature innings after losing their top five batsmen for such a low total.

The 44-run innings by Virat Kohli in the second session of Saturday's play was abruptly ended by a fantastic delivery from debutant Matthew Kuhnemann and a contentious call by the on-field umpire and third umpire.

Kohli just couldn't get his pads out of the way of the ball as it was the third delivery of the Indian innings' 45th over. Was it true that Kunhemann hit him on the pads? There was no question in the mind of umpire Nitin Menon that the ball had landed on the pad before it had hit the stumps.

Because he thought he made touch with the ball and that it was about to hit the ground, Kohli was fast to ask for a review. Richard Illingworth, the third umpire, took a while to decide whether Kohli's bat or pad had been struck by the ball first. He needed concrete evidence to refute the on-field umpire's ruling, which he lacked. The ball appeared to have impacted both Kohli's front pad and the inside edge of his bat at the same time.

It was up to the umpire to make the call because ball tracking showed that the ball would have only just grazed the leg stump. Illingworth asked Menon to stand by his decision of "out".

Kohli was not happy with the decision. The difficult call didn't turn out the way he had hoped it would. The former Indian captain stomped back to the pavilion, furious. The Indian dressing room was unhappy with the decision as well. Kohli was seen closely examining the replays and exhibiting even more dissatisfaction when he entered the changing room.
