Digital Desk: Rohit Sharma completed his 30th ODI century in the third ODI between India and New Zealand at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Rohit hit the milestone in just 82 balls as India made a spectacular start after New Zealand won the toss and decided to field first, with the opening duo putting on a 200-run partnership.
With this milestone, Rohit now has 30 ODI centuries to his name. This places him joint third on the list of players with the most ODI tons, behind Ricky Ponting, who also got 30 ODI tons. Rohit is only behind Sachin Tendulkar (50) and Virat Kohli (46) among the list of players with the most tons in the 50-over format in history.

With three 200+ scores, Rohit owns the record for the most double tonnes in ODI cricket history. He is the only player in the world to have accomplished the feat five times.
While the three-figure scores were not coming, Rohit appeared to be in good form recently, scoring half-centuries against Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and New Zealand in the second ODI.
India has already won the series, leading 2-0, and is attempting to complete a whitewash.
