IPL 2023: Afghanistani cricketer Naveen-ul-Haq has unfollowed Kohli from his Instagram account...
Digital Desk: From Virat Kohli to Gautam Gambhir to Naveen-ul-Haq, it was a night to forget at the Ekana stadium on Monday during an IPL 2023 match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants. Naveen was at the epicenter of all, as Kohli gave him a mouthful of words while he was batting in the middle. Things did not finish there and spilled over during the match. Kohli wanted to speak with the young Afghani, but Naveen ignored the former RCB captain, which made headlines. Now, Naveen has unfollowed Kohli from his Instagram account.
Here is the screenshot that would show the young Afghani's actions.
Meanwhile, Kohli, one of the RCB's batting mainstays, and Gambhir, the LSG coach, were seen having an intense debate after the Bengaluru-based team won the game by 18 runs on Monday night.
Both were fined 100% of their match fees on Tuesday for breaching Article 2.21 of the IPL code of conduct, which refers to public acts of misbehavior, unruly public behavior, and inappropriate comments harmful to the game's interest.
After the game, Kohli appeared to be referring to his argument with his former India and Delhi state teammate when he stated, "You got to take it, otherwise don't give it."
RCB won the game by 18 runs, earning two crucial points and keeping their playoff hopes alive.
