Digital Desk: Indian cricketer Kedar Jadhav, following in the footsteps of the legendary Mahendra Singh Dhoni, bid adieu to international cricket on Monday. Jadhav's retirement marks the end of a fruitful career spanning several years, leaving behind a legacy cherished by fans across the globe.

Making his debut for India in November 2014, during an ODI against Sri Lanka in Ranchi, Jadhav's journey in international cricket has been marked with moments of brilliance and dedication. Throughout his career, he graced the field in 73 one-day internationals and nine T20Is, showcasing his talent and determination on numerous occasions.

Expressing his gratitude to fans for their unwavering support, Jadhav took to social media, echoing Dhoni's iconic retirement announcement in 2020. He stated, "Thank you all For your love and support throughout my Career from 1500 hrs. Consider me as retired from all forms of cricket."

Jadhav's contributions with the bat have been commendable, amassing 1,389 runs in ODIs at an impressive average of 42.09, including two centuries and six fifties. His memorable innings, notably a blistering 76-ball 120 against England in January 2017, showcased his ability to deliver under pressure and turn the tide in favor of the team.

Moreover, Jadhav's evolution as an all-rounder added depth to the Indian squad. With his deceptive off-spin and unique slingy action, he claimed 27 ODI wickets, proving to be a valuable asset in crucial situations.

While bidding farewell to international cricket, Jadhav continues to be actively involved in the sport, leading Kolhapur Tuskers in the Maharashtra Premier League. His contributions to Indian cricket will be remembered and cherished for years to come, leaving an indelible mark on the sport he passionately served.
