Digital Desk: After a crushing 7-wicket win over arch-rivals Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday, India displaced New Zealand atop the ICC World Cup 2023 points table.
Both India and New Zealand have six points after winning their first three games of the tournament, but India has jumped from third to first because of their higher net run rate. India now has a net run rate of +1.821, while New Zealand has a net run rate of +1.604.
South Africa, the only team other than India and New Zealand to maintain an all-will record, is in third place with four points.
