India vs Australia, 3rd ODI: Will rain play spoilsport in series decider? Check here

Rohit Sharma and team are eying on winning the ODI series against Australia after a dramatic test series...

Digital Desk: Following a dramatic test series, Rohit Sharma and his team are aiming to win the ODI series against Australia. After a crushing loss in the second match, Team India will face Steve Smith-led Australia in the series decider third ODI on Wednesday (March 22) at M. A. Chidambaram Stadium. Despite an outstanding effort by Indian bowlers in Mumbai, the team is struggling to maintain their home dominance and the main reason is believed to be the batting unit that has not been performing up to the mark.

Meanwhile, Australia will look forward to their in-form opener Mitchell Marsh shining again, like in previous matches. After Mitchell Starc's fifer in the second ODI, the visitors will have more momentum, as both their batting and bowling units have done excellently on the field. Team India, on the other hand, will have to battle hard in order to win the series by 2-1.

The weather in Chennai may disappoint cricket fans by playing spoilsport before the match even begins. According to Accuweather, rain is expected to show up before or during the match. Cloud cover is forecast to reach 70% by 3 p.m., with thunderstorms possible during the match. The humidity will rise to 85% as the game progresses. The weather will be around 32 degrees and will drop to 29 degrees by 9 p.m. If the match is canceled due to rain, the three-match series will be tied at 1-1 because each side has won one match each.

Fans will be hoping for a thrilling cricket match and no rain to spoil the fun and competition between the two top teams in the world.
