Asia Cup Archery Championship, 2023, taking home the gold medal for the
country.
The team's outstanding
performance earned them the gold medal and established them as a dominant force
in the sport.
The Indian team, led by the
outstanding Jayanta Talukdar from Assam, defeated difficult resistance from
Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and China to win the coveted title.
The archery championship
featured 16 Indian archers, eight men and eight women.
Olympian Jayanta Talukdar
and World Champion Abhishek Verma led the Indian delegation of 16 to Tashkent,
Uzbekistan, for the Asia Cup 2023 archery leg/stage 2.
