Digital Desk: India won the series against Sri Lanka by a resounding 7-wicket victory in the second T20I in Dharamsala. Ishan Kishan, India's wicketkeeper, was struck on the head by a pacy bouncer bowled by Sri Lankan bowler Lahiru Kumara.
In the fourth over of India's innings, the incident occurred when a 146 kmph delivery struck Ishan on the helmet. Despite the physio's advice, he continued to play, but he soon lost his wicket.
According to Dainik Jagran, Ishan Kishan was then taken to Fortis Hospital in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, for treatment.
Kishan was taken to the hospital for a CT scan after being injured while batting. According to the report, as a precaution, he was admitted to the regular ward. Dinesh Chandimal of Sri Lanka was also injured and was admitted to the same hospital at the same time.
The BCCI has not issued an official statement on the matter. However, Ishan's CT scan has been completed, and he is completely healthy. He scored 16 runs off 15 balls in the match before being caught by Dasun Sanaka off Kumar's bowling.
Shreyas Iyer and Ravindra Jadeja's batting masterclass helped India to an easy victory. Iyer, who was named man of the match, has been in great form recently.
