Lovlina Borgohain, who won bronze at the World Championships in 2018 and 2019, overcame the disappointment of losing in the quarter-finals of the Commonwealth Games last year to triumph in New Delhi.
Lovlina secured India's fourth medal at the IBA Women's World Boxing Championships in New Delhi, all of which were gold. Nikhat Zareen won her second World Championships gold medal earlier in the day, dominating the 50kg final.
