Borgohain showcased her exceptional punching skills throughout the bout against her Norwegian opponent, securing a comfortable 5-0 win. It is worth noting that while Lovlina had previously beaten Sunniva in the semi-finals of the 2023 World Championships, the Norwegian had later triumphed over the Indian boxer in the Asian Games and Czechia Grand Prix.
