In the 15th over of India's play, Kohli required 42 runs to attain the milestone of 4000 T20I runs and did so with a boundary off Adil Rashid.
The only male cricketer to receive Player of the Tournament honours in both the 2014 and 2016 T20 World Cups was Kohli. Additionally, Kohli has scored the most runs in T20I cricket history.
