Digital Desk: Rohit Sharma has taken a much-needed holiday with his wife, Ritika, and their daughter after facing harsh criticism for his team's failure to win the World Test Championship final. Through her Instagram stories, Ritika has been updating her followers on their activities.
Her most recent post, however, has drawn a lot of attention since she thanked her husband for jumping into the water to save her phone after she had accidentally dropped it.
“My phone fell into the water, and this guy jumped in to save it,” wrote Ritika.
The first test match of India's thrilling tour to the West Indies is expected to begin on July 12 at Windsor Park in Dominica. Two tests, three ODIs, and five Twenty20 matches will be played during the month-long visit, which should make for a thrilling and action-packed series for cricket fans worldwide.
India will take part in the Asia Cup after the West Indies visit, which will be jointly hosted by Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The first game of the tournament is slated for August 31 while the final match is set for September 17.
