A specially designed open bus awaits the team for the parade, capturing the iconic moment when the entire team stands triumphantly with the T20 World Cup trophy. The scenes are reminiscent of the euphoria following India's 2007 T20 World Cup win, anticipated to draw throngs of fans onto the streets. The video of the preparation of this open bus has already gone viral on social media.
Ajinkya Naik, Secretary of the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), highlighted the meticulous arrangements for the victory parade. He assured the public that ample provisions have been made, in collaboration with Mumbai Police and BCCI, including free stadium entry on a first-come, first-served basis. The gates to the stadium will close promptly at 6 PM IST.
"We have made extensive preparations for the public. Under the guidance of Mumbai Police and BCCI, we are offering free entry to the public on a first-come, first-served basis... We've coordinated closely with Mumbai Police, ensuring robust security measures. It's a moment of immense pride for MCA and the nation, and we eagerly look forward to welcoming the Indian team today," Naik remarked.
