Earlier in WTC final in England in 2021 was cancelled due to rain. Check out the weather forecast for London ahead...
Digital Desk: The much-anticipated World Test Championship (WTC) final 2023 will begin in a few hours at The Oval in London. Going into the summit battle, both India and Australia will want nothing less than the ICC Test mace.
However, for any team to win, it is critical that the game is not washed out due to weather and that enough overs are played. The last WTC final in 2021 was similarly cancelled due to weather.
Have a look at how the weather will affect each day of the match starting from June-7-11 June — and, if required, there will be a reserve day on 12 June.

With the temperature rising to 26 degrees Celsius, there will be 2.5 mm of rain, with a 65 percent chance of precipitation.
June 11, Day-5: Despite only 1.4 mm of rain forecast for the fifth day, the weather will remain "mostly cloudy and warm" with occasional rain in the afternoon. There is a 65% chance of precipitation and an 85% chance of cloud cover.
Reserve Day (12 June): an average of 1.0 mm of rain is forecast for the reserve day, with a 54% cloud cover and a 57% chance of precipitation.
If the daily criterion for the Test match, 6 hours of game time and 90 overs, cannot be satisfied on any of the five days owing to weather, the reserve day will be used. The requirements will be satisfied using the extra time on the reserve day in that case.
