Former Cricketer Yuvraj Singh discloses his relation with MS Dhoni in TRS Show
Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh made a stunning statement, MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh are not...

Digital Desk: Yuvraj Singh, a former India cricketer, has made a surprising revelation about his past relationship with MS Dhoni. Singh stated on the TRS podcast that he and the former India captain are not good friends.

When asked about his connection with MS Dhoni by the podcast presenter, Yuvraj stated that he will try to be politically correct since he will be if the same question is posed to MS Dhoni.

Yuvraj went on to justify his friendship with Dhoni, claiming that they were only buddies because of sport.

"Do I have to be politically correct or honest?" Let me be politically correct because Mahi will be politically correct if you ask him. Me and Mahi are not close friends; we met through cricket and played together. My way of life was extremely different from his, thus we were never close friends only because of cricket," Yuvraj Singh stated on the podcast 'The Ranveer Show' (TRS).

"When Mahi and I went to the pitch, we gave more than 100% for our country, and he was captain and I was vice-captain. He was four years my junior when he joined the team," Yuvraj Singh explained.

"There would be disagreements in decisions between the captain and the vice-captain. Sometimes he made decisions I didn't agree with, and sometimes I made decisions he didn't agree with, and that is true for every team," Yuvraj remarked of his playing days.

However, Yuvraj Singh praised MS Dhoni as the only person who brought clarity in the final days of his career, before the 2019 World Cup.

"At the end of my career, when I couldn't get a clear picture, I went to him for advice. At the time, he told me that the selection committee had no intention of looking at me. And I was grateful to him that at least someone had told me the truth," Yuvraj stated.

"You don't have to be best friends to contribute to the team. When you're on the pitch, you have to put your ego aside and play the game," Yuvraj said of his friendship with MS Dhoni.
