Digital Desk: On Wednesday, Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa declared his retirement from all forms of the game. He also praised all of the IPL teams with whom he has previously played. Last season, he played for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
During the 14-year history of the IPL, he also played for the Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Pune Warriors India, Rajasthan Royals, and Kolkata Knight Riders.
The 2007 T20 World Cup-winning striker, who last played for India in 2015, announced his decision on Twitter.
"It has been 20 years since I began playing professional cricket, and it has been an honour to represent my country and state, Karnataka—a magnificent journey of ups and downs; one that has been meaningful, rewarding, enjoyable, and has helped me to grow as a human being."
