"Only MS Dhoni Messaged Me" – Virat Kohli makes stunning revelations: Check here

Virat has so far played well at the Asia Cup. He has scored154 runs  averaging 77.00 runs per game. He has two half-centuries and a best individual score of 60.

Digital Desk: Indian batsman and former team captain, Virat Kohli has revealed that only Mahendra Singh Dhoni gave him support during a trying period of mental turmoil following his quitting as Test captain.

"Only person messaged me after I stepped down as Test captain was MS Dhoni. Even though they have my phone number, nobody else. I don't want anything from him, and he doesn't want anything from me. It appears in this way if there is a true relationship. We had no distrust for one another. Many suggestions are made in public. I would personally approach someone if I wanted to communicate with them. If one does want me to improve, he can chat to me one on one. However, I will not respect your suggestions if you make them public, "Fina he said.

Virat Kohli said, "The respect and connection that you have with someone, that shows in this way. There are some connections that are trustworthy and secure."

It's okay to take a break, and Kohli reaffirmed, "I hope this gives people strength and are able to address their feelings." Anyone can experience these emotions, but it's crucial to acknowledge them and take care of them. If you ignore it, your frustration level will increase. The most important thing for me was cricket, and I'm happy, excited, and loving it again.

Also receiving some harsh words of encouragement from Virat Kohli was rookie bowler Arshdeep Singh, who lost a critical catch in the game's 18th over.

"Even when I played my first game in the Champions Trophy against Pakistan, I made a poor shot and was subsequently ejected. Under duress, everyone can make mistakes. Feeling awful is normal. The captain and management deserve praise for the positive team atmosphere that currently exists. Therefore, one must acknowledge their error, take appropriate action, and look forward to the next time they are under pressure "stated Kohli during a news conference on Sunday after the game.

Virat has so far played well at the Asia Cup. He has scored154 runs  averaging 77.00 runs per game. He has two half-centuries and a best individual score of 60.

The star batsman concurs that these excellent matchups between India and Pakistan are beneficial for both the two bitter rivals as well as for international cricket as a whole.

"Pakistan is a well-rounded team. They have an effective bowling offence. There will be entertaining matches when two well-balanced teams compete " he added.

Additionally, he lauded all-arounder Hardik Pandya, adding, "Hardik has made use of his abilities. He is aware of his abilities. Once he gets going, he has the ability to end the game."

The batter acknowledged that Mohammad Nawaz's innings, which included 42 runs in just 20 balls, changed the course of the match.

"By giving him the command, a risk was taken. It's fantastic to play innings with such impact. Things would have been different if his innings had been limited to only 15 to 20 runs " he stated.
