Digital Desk: Indian batsman and former team captain, Virat Kohli has revealed that only Mahendra Singh Dhoni gave him support during a trying period of mental turmoil following his quitting as Test captain.

"Only person messaged me after I stepped down as Test captain was MS Dhoni. Even though they have my phone number, nobody else. I don't want anything from him, and he doesn't want anything from me. It appears in this way if there is a true relationship. We had no distrust for one another. Many suggestions are made in public. I would personally approach someone if I wanted to communicate with them. If one does want me to improve, he can chat to me one on one. However, I will not respect your suggestions if you make them public, "Fina he said.

Virat Kohli said, "The respect and connection that you have with someone, that shows in this way. There are some connections that are trustworthy and secure."

The batter acknowledged that Mohammad Nawaz's innings, which included 42 runs in just 20 balls, changed the course of the match.
