Digital Desk: The most awaited moment for cricket fans as India versus After the South Africa visit to India in 2022 was announced, there has been a significant increase in the search for Guwahati T20 tickets.

The first T20 International between South Africa and India is slated for October 2, 2022, at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, and the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) issued its timetable for ticket sales on Thursday.

When compared to the previous T20 encounter between India and Sri Lanka on January 5, 2020, which was ultimately abandoned owing to rain and soggy patches on the field, prices have decreased across a number of categories.

According to the information available, the rates for the other blocks have decreased by 9.09% while those for the student block (West stand the second floor) tickets have climbed to Rs 475 (a 58% increase).

The first round of ticket sales, consisting of 15,000 seats, will start on Friday, ACA President Ramen Dutta and Secretary Debojit Saikia announced during a news conference held here in Guwahati. Starting at 11 a.m., spectators can purchase tickets online at Bookmyshow.com or the Book my show app.

On September 26, 2022, the second round of ticket sales will start with the distribution of 5,000 additional tickets.

The cost of tickets for the West Stand's first level has dropped from Rs 2200 to Rs 2000 since India and Sri Lanka's previous T20 international cricket match.

While the price of tickets for the East Stand's Second Floor remains at Rs. 1500, those for the East Stand's First Floor have been reduced to Rs. 2000, North Stand's Top Floor to Rs. 2000, North Stand's Second Floor to Rs. 4000, North Stand's Ground Floor to Rs. 3500, and South Stand's Bottom Floor to Rs.

However, the cost of the first floor in the South stand as well as the ground floor in the West stand and the East stand has gone up by 9.09%.

After almost two years, the Barsapara Cricket Stadium will host an international cricket match.

In preparation for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022, the India National Cricket Team will play a three-match ODI and a three-match T20I series against the South Africa National Cricket Team.

India and South Africa will play a three-match T20I series on September 28, October 1, and October 2 in Trivandrum, Guwahati, and Indore, respectively.

Guwahati's Barsapara Cricket Stadium, built in 2012, can accommodate 60,000 spectators.
