The AI chatbot is pretty interesting and loaded with features similar to ChatGPT. However, the knowledge of the AI is limited and currently performs only text-based chat.
Digital Desk:
Just one month after its founding and $50 million in funding last month, Krutrim AI has gone public, becoming the first Indian-grown unicorn. Bhavesh Agarwal stated earlier this month that the chatbot would be accessible to everyone last week, but for unspecified reasons, the business appears to have delayed the launch.
There are two versions of Krutrim available: Krutrim and Krutrim Pro. The AI chatbot's non-pro version can converse in ten Indian languages, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, and even Hinglish, and understand 22 different languages.
When compared with other models like GPT-4 and Llama, it performs slightly better on benchmarks for Indian languages. In case you were wondering, the Pro version is slated for release in Q2 2024 and is marketed as a multi-model for enterprise use. According to Agarwal, Krutrim AI can react to voice requests and has been trained on 20 times more Indian tokens.
