    Hate speech jumped by 38% on FB, violent content rises 86% on Insta in April

    The report showed that Instagram acted on 77,000 violence and incitement-related posts in April compared to 41,300 in March.

    increase in hate speech on Facebook and an 86 percent increase in violent and
    inflaming content on Instagram in April.

    the report issued on May 31, 53,200 hate speech was detected on Facebook in
    April, which is 37.82 percent higher than 38,600 seen in March, on which the
    platform took action.
