Dell Technologies has introduced software-driven storage innovations that give Indian businesses access to information, security, and higher levels of productivity.
Digital Desk: A top executive from Dell Technologies India stated on Sunday that the company anticipates seeing the start of an accelerated 5G infrastructure deployment serving both urban and rural India sooner than anticipated as India begins to take its first steps towards 5G with a record Rs 1.5 lakh crore spectrum auction.
According to Manish Gupta, vice president (VP), Infrastructure Solutions Group, Dell Technologies India, the development will accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge technologies like the Internet of Things, Industrial IoT, edge computing, and robotics across industries like agriculture, e-commerce, healthcare, education, and pharma.
Enterprise-grade solutions and services for their workloads that are integrated with their on-premises infrastructure stacks will be necessary as businesses look to move an increasing number of their applications to the public cloud, according to Gupta.
He emphasised that "Data Analytics, AI, and Machine Learning (ML) will enter new market segments and help businesses make better, data-driven decisions, leading to more accurate, real-time, and predictive analytics."
Indian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), which are concerned with generating revenue growth and are initially hesitant to invest in IT infrastructure solutions, will need a resilient path to the cloud as 5G is expected to become a reality soon.
