Instagram is offline, and several users report their accounts being suspended

Digital Desk: Users are unable to access their accounts on
Instagram and are receiving messages that their accounts have been suspended
due to technical problems. The technical team is investigating the situation.
Similar issues last week affected Meta-owned
Whats App, where users were unable
    to access the service.

    Many users all over
the world claim that Instagram is no longer functioning properly. A few people
tweeted about receiving notification that their account had been suspended,
while some users claimed that their account had been locked.

    Users of Instagram
began to experience issues today when they couldn't access the internet and
instead received a notification on the app stating that their account had been
suspended. Users posted screenshots of the notification message along with
them, which sparked conversation on the micro blogging site Twitter. Later, Instagram stated that there was a technical issue and that no action had
been taken to ban all of the accounts simultaneously.

    Without providing any
other information regarding the'suspension of the accounts,' which appears to
be a bug, the photo-sharing platform tweeted that they are aware of the issues
    and are investigating them.

    Additionally, last
week's severe technical issue that caused the platform to stop functioning for
more than an hour caused problems for Whats App, which is owned by Meta.

Several users have also expressed dissatisfaction over
losing followers on the photo-sharing website. Regarding this, the company has
    not made any statements.

It is important to note that even users who weren't at the
performance were still able to log into their accounts, send and receive DMs,
and post status updates and other content on the platform. their accounts
discovered that a huge decline in followers had occurred, most likely as a
result of the suspension of so many accounts.
