Customers will receive an invitation to check out the company's 5G services through the Jio True 5G Welcome Offer, and subscribers will receive unlimited 5G internet at speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second.

Digital Desk: With a small group of subscribers, telecom giant Jio will launch beta testing of 5G service in four cities starting on October 5 in four cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi.

Customers will receive an invitation to check out the company's 5G services through the Jio True 5G Welcome Offer, and subscribers will receive unlimited 5G internet at speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second.

"On the auspicious day of Dussehra, Jio is launching the Beta trial of its True-5G services for Jio users in four cities: Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Varanasi. This follows the company's successful presentation of these services during the India Mobile Congress 2022,” Jio said in the statement.

"Jio's Welcome Offer will allow its invited customers to test True-5G services and give service and user-experience feedback as Jio's True 5G network is prepared in certain metro areas. Being a client-focused company, Jio is committed to providing the best customer experience, which is strengthened by input from customers "the telecom stated in a statement.

Welcome Offer for Jio True 5G

    1. A Jio True 5G Welcome Offer is being made available to Jio consumers by invitation in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi.

    2. These consumers will receive limitless 5G bandwidth at speeds of up to 1 Gbps or more.

    3. As cities continue to prepare, the Beta testing service for new cities will be gradually publicised.

    4. In order to give every client the finest coverage and user experience, users will continue to take advantage of this Beta trial until the network coverage of a city is essentially complete.

    5. Invited consumers of the "Jio Welcome Offer" will automatically be upgraded to the Jio True 5G service without having to switch to a new Jio SIM or 5G device.

    6. Jio is also collaborating with all phone manufacturers to ensure that their 5G handsets are compatible with Jio True 5G services, giving customers the widest selection of 5G devices available.

"By embracing 5G, Jio will create nation-first platforms and solutions that will alter skill development, education, healthcare, agriculture, and many other similar industries, with the promise of allowing a better life for every Indian. 5G cannot continue to be a privileged few or residents of our biggest cities-only service. Every resident, household, and establishment in India must have access to it," said Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited.
