Digital Desk: A Japanese man, Toco, who recently gained fame on social media for transforming himself into a dog in a custom-made collie costume that cost more than $14,000 (Rs 12 lakh), claims that people are "misinformed" about his intentions and that he actually wants to live like that.

Toco claimed that he "maybe once a week, mostly at home," wears the costume. He said, "My desire to be an animal is like a desire to transform—a desire to be something that I am not." It is to be noted that the creators took 40 days to make the unusual garment, but it has helped the man realize his dream of "becoming an animal."

The man had previously uploaded many videos of himself playing fetch and rolling around on the ground. Additionally, he uploaded a video of himself going out in Tokyo for the first time, and the bystanders were in awe of the human collie.

The man shared his entire experience on his YouTube channel. He acknowledged that he had always "had a vague dream of becoming an animal" ever since he was a child, despite the fact that he has not yet disclosed his name to the world.

Toco had previously said, with regards to his choice to become a collie, "I made it a collie because it looks real when I put it on my taste and costume. My favorites are quadrupedal animals, especially cute ones. Among them, I thought that a big animal close to me would be good, considering that it would be a realistic model, so I decided to make it a dog. Long-haired dogs can mislead the human figure. I met such a condition and made Collie my favorite breed of dog."
