Digital Desk:  The Miyazaki mango, which is often found in Japan, is known as the most expensive mango in the world. The uncommon mango can now be discovered in India in the West Bengal region of Birbhum. It is extremely priced at Rs 3 lakh a kilogramme.

A Miyazaki mango tree that is planted outside a mosque in Dubrajpur draws visitors from all across the state.

This mango kind is mostly grown in Japan during the peak harvest season, which spans from April to August.

As it ripens, the Miyazaki mango undergoes a fascinating change. Its initial coloration is purple. However, as it reaches its optimal ripeness, it becomes a bright crimson. The weight of a single Miyazaki mango is roughly 350 grammes.

The mosque authorities staged an auction for the famous Miyazaki mangoes, also known as 'eggs of the sun', on Friday. The mosque was able to raise lakhs of rupees through the selling of the unique mangoes. According to the officials, the funds raised will be used to further the development of the mosque.

The Miyazaki mango tree was planted two years ago by a local Villager. It was only later that the villagers discovered that those mangoes are the most expensive in the world.
