'Best Sunday': Zomato CEO turns delivery boy to make Friendship Day special
He was holding a bunch of friendship bands, which he wanted to offer to delivery executives, customers, and even restaurant partners...

Digital Desk: Deepinder Goyal, CEO of Zomato, celebrated Friendship Day with a special delivery. His followers on the microblogging platform Twitter were surprised when they saw what Goyal was up to on this special day. The Zomato CEO posted photos of himself on his route to deliver friendship bands and food to delivery partners, restaurant partners, and customers.

Deepinder Goyal posted a photo of him riding a Royal Enfield bike, all set to commemorate this day of friendship with those linked with the brand in some way. He was holding a bunch of friendship bands, which he wanted to offer to delivery executives, customers, and even restaurant partners.

The internet was blown away by his wonderful deed. "Zomato orders over Swiggy today, where people are hoping to meet the CEO," a user wrote.

Another user asked, "You deliver in Chandigarh!? I hope to find you as my delivery partner someday!"

This is not the first time Goyal has donned the role of a Zomato delivery person. On New Year's Eve, Goyal decided to deliver a few orders via the app, tweeting that his first drop was at the Zomato office. He claimed to have delivered up to four orders in total. His X bio, interestingly, reads, "Delivery boy at Zomato."
