Mumbai: India's leading online shopping platform Myntra appointed Nandita Sinha as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on November 12, 2021.
Nandita Sinha will report to Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy. This appointment turned out to be the first time a woman executive will be in the ecommerce group.
Sinha appointment will be effective from January 1, 2022. As per sources, Nagaram is leaving Myntra to begin his venture. However, he will stay with Myntra till the end of December 2021.
Sinha has extensive expertise in leading businesses and forcing tech-pivoted growth and reform.

Sinha has been with Flipkart since 2013. She was the VP for customer increase, communications and engagement, at the firm. She has also been actively involved with Flipkart's flagship Diwali sale event Big Billion Days.
Before serving Flipkart, she was the co-founder at MyBabyCart.com, an e-commerce site.
"Myntra is integral to the group as an organisation that leads the charter on fashion, beauty and lifestyle. It solves the dynamic needs of the modern fashion-conscious consumer. As the forerunner of several innovations and unique consumer experiences, our aspirations continue to grow for Myntra as a separate company," Flipkart Group CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy stated.

I am very excited about my new role and look forward to the opportunity of driving Myntra's vision of democratising fashion further while working with a very talented team at Myntra," Sinha said.
