Digital Desk : The Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and global pop star Katy Perry have officially confirmed their relationship following weeks of speculation. The couple was recently spotted enjoying a romantic getaway in Santa Barbara, California, with intimate photos from their yacht trip now going viral across social media platforms.
In the viral photos, Trudeau is seen shirtless and he is making love to Perry who is adorned with a smooth black swimsuit. In other photographs, the two are seen hugging each other with Trudeau kissing Perry on the cheek in a very tender way. The chemistry between the two appears undeniable, putting an end to rumours that they had drifted apart.
Earlier reports suggested the pair had grown distant following Trudeau’s discomfort with media scrutiny after their dinner date in Montreal. However, the latest images do not convey the same theme they are of the couple who are easy, smiling, and enjoying company of each other.
As per report, , “She pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out. I didn’t realise who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm, and I immediately recognised it was Justin Trudeau.”
The two were first seen in July 2025 when the two were on a dinner date in Montreal. Trudeau subsequently attended the sold-out Perry concert on the Lifetimes tour in Canada, which raised a lot of curiosity as to what was the nature of their affair.
Perry, who ended her engagement with actor Orlando Bloom in June 2025 after a seven-year relationship, continues to co-parent their daughter, Daisy Dove. In the meantime, Trudeau divorced Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in August 2023 following 18 years of marriage together. The ex-duo has three kids Xavier (17 years old), Ella-Grace (16 years old), and Hadrien (11 years old).
Their new romantic relationship is currently most talked-about celebrity pairings of the year.
