Digital Desk: A 24-Handed Maa Durga, blending Northeast heritage with conventional artistry, envisioned by KADlien Innovation through Artificial Intelligence.
Durga, the eternal embodiment of Shakti, lives in every woman as the divine power behind creation. While the ten-armed form of the Goddess is most familiar, rare depictions of a 24-Armed Maa Durga symbolize her infinite strength and mastery over the 24 cosmic principles (tattvas) described in Hindu philosophy. These are referenced in ancient texts like the Mahābhārata (Śānti Parva, Chapter 310) and further elaborated by scholars such as Kapila, the founder of the Sāṃkhya school of philosophy.
The number 24 also connects deeply to the 24 syllables of the sacred Gayatri Mantra and the 24 hours of the day, symbolizing her omnipresence across time and human consciousness.
In Tantric traditions, her 24 arms represent boundless energy currents. Durga as the supreme orchestrator of time, mantra, and cosmic balance. From a modern scientific and philosophical lens, the 24 hands serve as a powerful metaphor for systems integration—the profound ability to manage countless complex functions simultaneously. It stands as a visual reminder of resilience, complexity, and holistic control.
This year, KADlien Innovation has reimagined this rare iconography through Artificial Intelligence (AI), beautifully blending Northeast heritage with conventional artistry. This striking fusion bridges tradition with technology, celebrating both cultural depth and modern creativity. The resulting 24-Handed Maa Durga artwork is prominently displayed on the first floor of the Uzanbazar Barowari Puja Mandap Samiti premises. Crafted out of durable cement and concrete, this magnificent installation is visible from the road and is built to endure for the next 100 years.
The 24-Handed Maa Durga thus stands not only as a spiritual symbol, but also as a powerful cultural statement—reminding us that divine power, feminine strength, and human innovation are inseparable forces shaping our world. She is a multi-layered symbol of completeness, cosmic control, and infinite energy, seamlessly bridging spirituality, philosophy, and forward-thinking innovation. Durga resides within every woman; therefore, this idol is dedicated to all the mothers of India.
The Uzanbazar Barowari Puja Mandap Samiti is one of Guwahati’s most vibrant, community-driven Durga Puja committees. Over the years, the Samiti has earned widespread recognition not only for its devotional grandeur but also for its impactful social welfare initiatives. KADlien Construction—has designed, completed interiors and donated the floor for the welfare of society —the site now serves as a bustling permanent community hub. It stands open for family functions, social gatherings, and civic awareness programs.
Furthermore, the premises connect directly with broader environmental sustainability efforts. The building incorporates Amphibia’s innovative rainwater harvesting model, a pioneering system dedicated to the late Dr. Pabitra Kumar Sarma. Since 2002, Dr. Sarma championed water conservation, successfully turning rainwater harvesting into an essential building construction bylaw for Guwahati. This integration beautifully links timeless tradition with modern environmental responsibility.
In essence, the Uzanbazar Barowari Puja Mandap Samiti is far more than a festive venue—it is a harmonious fusion of spirituality, community service, and cultural empowerment, embodying the protective spirit of Durga as Shakti in a collective, human form.
KADlien extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Uzanbazar Barowari Puja Mandap Samiti for granting us the opportunity to develop these premises for the welfare of society.
We warmly invite citizens to come forward and utilize this beautifully upgraded facility. The premises have been equipped with modern amenities while preserving the classical heritage of Northeast India, making it the perfect venue for startup meetings, family functions, weddings, yoga sessions, sports events, and community gatherings.
