Digital Desk: The fifth-generation (5G) telecom services in India are expected to be launched in October of this year.

The government successfully concluded the sale after four companies, including Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and Adani Data Networks, successfully bid over Rs 1.50 lakh crores in the spectrum auction on Monday.

Ashwini Vaishnaw, the union minister of communications, electronics, and information technology, stated at a press conference following the conclusion of the 5G spectrum auction, "Auction has been completed and in the next few days, until August 10, all formalities including approving and allocating the spectrum will be done."
