Digital Desk: Air India and several other airlines suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel for the next few days after the Houthi rebels attacked at the Ben Gurion airport on Sunday. A Tel Aviv-bound flight from Delhi was diverted to Abu Dhabi after the incident, Air India said in a statement.

In a statement, Air India said that it suspended all flights between Delhi and Tel Aviv until May 6.
Authorities said that at least eight people were injured and admitted to a hospital following the incident.
The airlines that were suspended along with Air India were Germany's Lufthansa, British Airways, and America's Delta Air Lines.
Lufthansa has suspended flights to and from Tel Aviv until May 6.
British Airways said that it had suspended all flights to and from Tel Aviv until May 7.
The Israeli Police said that the air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport was briefly closed after the missile strike from Yemen.
